Incorrectly marked single yellow lines

This picture was taken near the bottom of Arkwright Road.

The patch of single yellow line marked here is not within a Controlled Parking Zone and has no time plate and so its hours of operation are completely undefined - i.e. you are legally allowed to park there 24/7. I suspect there may be many such areas around Camden. Unfortunately traffic wardens are not trained well enough to realise that no offence is being committed when people park in such areas and so will give people tickets anyway. Camden's parking department have even denied the existence of any regions within Camden which are not part of a Controlled Parking Zone... but this is clearly nonsense, as can be seen from the photo. I would like to collect a list of such areas. If you know of any within Camden, please send me details at info@camdenparkingerrors.com

Years ago I spotted a similar patch of single yellow line outside Woolworths on the Kilburn High Road. When I reported this to Camden they initially denied that there was any problem, but after weeks of badgering them, they finally acknowledged the problem, erected a new sign and refunded parking fines to everyone that had previously been given a ticket there. At the time I thought that this was a one off situation, but more recently I noticed some more and I now suspect there may be dozens.
